Remodelling your kitchen, one of the most-used and loved areas of your home, is a huge decision with so many options to choose from. So, to compare them properly, it pays to get at least three quotes and kitchen renovation experts' guidance.
Julie's kitchen was ugly and old. The colours were ghastly, the doors were falling off and she was so sick and tired of living with it. So began the journey of a kitchen renovation. She visited many kitchen showrooms to look at designs, finishes and layouts to get a clearer vision in her head. The do it yourself option was a consideration, but when it came down to value for money and reasonable timeframes, she decided it was time to consult the experts.
"I got three quotes and it was a no-brainer"
She spent time with and received quotes from at least two larger companies. One offered a great kitchen design the other a great price. But neither were quite right, so, on her husband's recommendation, she contacted Unity Kitchens.
"They came in with a completely different design and looked at the kitchen with different eyes."
Whilst she held her ideas back a little, she found that Mick genuinely listened, thought outside the square and gave her advice. It was a no-brainer. He was able to sort out a great space for her stubborn-sized dining table and opened extra space in a corner nook that used to be a pantry.
The customer service was also amazing. It's not often a supplier will notify a customer if they felt the quality or look of a product didn't suit. But the stone bench she'd chosen just didn't seem right and she was asked to come and choose from three other options that would be better suited and still within budget.

Visiting the warehouse in Cardiff, made everything clearer. She could see the manufacturing process, talk through product options and see design changes straight away in 3D – and the singing workmen were the icing on the cake!
Not having the pressure of managing tradesmen and deliveries throughout the process was bliss. Mick project managed everything from the actual kitchen installation to that of a new window in the kitchen. It was just so smooth.
